08 June 2025 - J*b Hunting

It's been a moment. But summer break is on the horizon, and now that I'm 16, it's time for the scary thing, empl*yment.

About a week ago, I applied as a "crew member" at a McDonald's. Yeah. I'm being totally unironic, I'm going to be a burger flipper. The manager responded and I'm going in for an interview on Tuesday. I hope I get hired. Then I'll actually become a burger flipper (like the SD2 disaster (help, i'm brainrotted))

If I get hired, I'll stay there until I can find a better one. Better than not accepting it at all like I did last year which I deeply regret. 5 hours on my feet ain't hurting nobody. There's a couple places that I've applied to, gotten no response, and plan to apply to again. Mostly grocery stores and resturaunts. The place I was just talking about was a bakery. Just entry-level jobs, where else am I supposed to work at anyway?

BTW, the McDonald's is like 6 miles away. I don't have a driver's license yet. Until I finish driver's ed this summer, traveling to and from is gonna suck. There's one closer, less than 2 miles, but I was being regarded so I thought I was applying to that one instead of the closer one. But I applied to there today so I'm also waiting on a response from there. Oops.

So I guess I'll update or whatever whenever something changes. It's been a while since my last blogpost, I know. Life has been pretty boring. Lans, OUT
