27 March 2025 - Mastering CSS

Last night instead of doing my homework I decided to work on CSS instead, and so I've rolled out what might be one of largest updates to the website so far. I finally designed a clean navbar layout and I think I've (at least somewhat) mastered containers! I lowkey regret choosing such a time to work on it though because I had to do an insane amount of cramming very late last night and today for a quiz.

Anyway, I do hope to devise a better theme for this website, adding a background image for the header and replacing the main background with a block/uniform patterend theme. I want this website to maintain some of the charm from 2000s-2010s GeoCities, I have a deep appreciation for the "home-crafted" website apperance and I feel like mine is too sterile and boring right now.

I also need to update the rest of my blogs right now because I had to do a massive overhaul of the html and with the addition of new containers and spans that's going to take a while to add to every single other page. At least it will be worth the trouble though, as it will allow for more flexibility in the future. The navbar code used to be so messy before, you have no idea. And the layout feels a lot cleaner now.
